So anyway, a few years back my friends and I decided to go to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show in London's Prince Charles Theatre. They play it every Friday night and little did I know that this is the place where all the weird, cosplaying RHPS fans go every weekend instead of boozing down the pub. It turns out that while they're playing the film they have small cast of people acting out the entire movie below the screen in full regalia. (Check out Frank N. Furter!)
So, before the film starts, they have to have a 'RHPS Virgin's Initiation' ceremony. It's actually not as sinister as it sounds. I think. Basically, if you've never been inducted into this strange and frightening world of Friday-night madness, you have to get up on stage and be 'chosen' (one male, one female, of course) for the cruel baptism into 'non-virgin' status.
So I get up with several other guys and gals, and Riff Raff and Magenta are hmm-ing and hah-ing about who they should choose. Turns out Riff Raff was giving me the eye and says: 'We should choose her, she looks good', but Magenta says: 'No, she's not wearing anything spangly.'
Bitch.
So what's the moral of the story? If you want to go places you've never been to before, wear something spangly.
Er...so that's my Random Story of the Month.
A quickie drawn at the request of . I hope her pneumatic figure makes up for the fact that I didn't draw that R-rated picture that you wanted. Sorry mate.
Wow- look at this!!!!
Love her pose and haughty expression. Now that's a woman who isn't afraid to get what she wants!
And all that purple! Did you sketch it in pencil first?
I just adore the costume and its texture! Man I'd love an outfit like that!
Just awe-inspiring!!! Must fave!
P.S- I enjoyed reading that little story! Very weird!
Excellent drawing! The lighting effects... *drool*. How do you do that stuff?!
The pose, the hair, the skin tones... wow. Not to mention the general idea. Funny, how characters always look cooler when smoking (although I consider it a bad thing in real life). The wisp of smoke looks good, nice job you did, making it look like it blends with the background a bit.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This is YOUR opportunity to mock, ridicule and generally take great delight and amusement whilst poking fun at the beloved Volunteers and Staff of deviantART.

Yeah, Psylocke is (was) the epitome of top totty (can you guess she's a Brit???
Yup, I sketched it in pencil first, then took it into Photoshop.
Heh heh... I wish I had an outfit like that, but sadly, I'm just not a spangly girl... Looks like I won't be going many places.
