Picnic - Half by Ludi-Price Picnic - Half by Ludi-Price
The good thing about 'Reading Week' (i.e., that time when you're supposed to be studying and catching up with all the work you've missed), is that I have copious amounts of time to draw.

So you can probably guess what I've been spending my sleepless nights doing.

Yup, nowadays life doesn't get more exciting than this.

*sigh*

Ahh, love this one particularly. Anatomy is great, love the scene, and love the coloring - more so because only Rogue and Gambit are colored. Extremely well done.

I asolutely love this one. The small details; the folds; the coloring - everything is perfect. And to tell you the truth, I think its great how it is. I dont think you should the background and heres why: ::she has a reason!::

It makes it seem like Remy and Rogue are in their own little world and everything else if colorless compared to what life is like when they are together. I think its a nice sentiment and I thought you didn't color the background on purpose because of that^_^

either way I like it, you might even choose to just color the hearts and daimonds on the playing cards, that way it doesn't look like the picture is unfinished just that you meant to leave it that way.

I'm done rambling, I swear!

-Em

PS - its great to see another X-man fanatic on here ^_^ we gotta stick together! :glomp:

Have I mentioned how much I love the fact that Rogue's shirt is pulled up just a little on that side? Just enough so that you know Remy was responsible for it. It's such a darn cute little bit in there that I love. ^.^
Can't wait to see this finished.

It's only because I am such a loser that I have nothing better to do all day than to stare at amazing pictures. . .when I should be translating Latin.

Like now, actually. . . .

Eh, I figure it's a decent trade. My Prof might not think so, though.

Technically I'm an Anthropology major (with a Bio minor and possibly double major in Psych, if I can get through my classes) with an emphasis on physical anthropology -- I want to work in forensic anthro, which basically means that now I spent a lot of time 'workin' at the morgue.

But yeah, I take Latin. It's actually really fun, in a logical, time consuming sort of way. I'm only in my second semester, so I often find myself peering at my dictionary in confusion while translating my lines. ^.^

Wow! I have to say that that is really cool. Forensic anthropology would be an awesome thing to study. As you may know by now, I've always been really into murder mysteries etc. CSI is one of my most favourite programs ever. I just love seeing the way that they work through the crime scenes. Wonderful stuff...

Oh yeah, studying a language is mean...I'm in my 4th (last) year of a Chinese major, and even now, having spent a year in China, I'm still checking things up in my dictionary constantly :p

I really enjoy it, actually. Working in a Forensic Center has taught me a lot about how investigations and autopsies are done. And tons about human anatomy. I know you're a CSI fan, and I have to say, that nothing is like it is on TV, as my boss is fond of bitching about that show quite often. I've never actually watched much of the show, although I beat the computer game for my sister once.

You are a Chinese major? That's really groovy! That is such a hard language to master, I have to say that I'm super impressed! Are you studying anything else in school? And you went to China! I am so jealous!

You worked in a Forensic Center??!! Now I'm suitably jealous!!! ;)
Yes, I can imagine real CSI aren't like they are on TV at all, but hey, at least they made the effort to describe the process of investigating a crime scene instead of just focusing on the murder. It's kinda like watching Columbo working out who the murderer is while we know who it is all along - gives it that edge, y'know ;)

Yup, I study Chinese...Actually, my mum is from Hong Kong, so I thought I'd learn more about my roots. I do the whole shebang - language, literature, classical prose and poetry, newspaper reading...*sigh* I'm also studying the Making of China. History, in other words. Damn hard...

Yes, I was staying in Beijing for about a year. It was an eye-opener to say the least. Cheap everything, but quite polluted :( And the Great Wall was awesome! Even though most of it was a restoration...=P

Nope, I just use the normal brush on a small setting, zoom in loads and do it the painstaking hard way :p I'm sure there must be an easier way...
