Never was there such a clan of families that met with such mishap.
Left to right: - Penelope with Telemachus, Odysseus, Agamemnon, Menelaus, Elektra, Iphigenia with Orestes, Clytemnestra, Helen with Nicostratus, Hermione. Some relics from my childhood obssession with Greek mythology. Waiting for me to do the background and gather up the courage to paint it.
Wow, this is awesome! I admire your skill with folds and how they look all so Greek and yet distinctive! Also great moods - I love that one mother is annoyed with her kid, while another seems proud of him and so on...
The only fishy thing is that those colums look more like Egyptian than Greek ones, not that it is of a real importance, just didn't want you to acuse me of praising... j/k
LOL. That's okay. Thanks so much for the wonderful comment! You rock!
I'm so glad you got the moods, that was exactly the thing I was trying to portray!
Hmmm. You're right about the columns though. I wanted something simple, but I guess I could stick in some Dorian or Ionic columns instead of Corinthian ones...those things do my head in.

That is beautiful! It's amazing how you made all the faces look unique. Most group pictures tend to make all the individuals look the same, but not yours! Greek Mythology is probably the best. I'd love to see it painted!

Wow, that is simply amazing. I mean, I just look at it and I'm awed. The composition of the picture is great, and I just the fine, personal details you've put into the people. I also sense a whole 'greek-ish' style there, especially with the profiled faces. The four left ones are my favs.
Oh, Ludi!! That is *georgous*!!!!! You've captured the Classical elements of costume and
the 'feel' of the art of the period beautifully!!! I can't wait to see the painted version!
The house of Menelaus was just screwed up. I read the Oresteia. Seriously screwed up.
I can't wait to see this painted. All of them look so amazing and the clothing folds are to die for. I love the stylized way you did this with bolder lines, very nice.
Screwed up family, but Clytemnestra kicked ass. Too bad Orestes killed her and got away scot free (that story endorses matrocide, I swear).

Woa... That is magnificent! I always attempt to mix darker outlines with light pencil detail and it never looks like this. I'm rather envious of you, your work is so good. Awsomeness! I love the different hair styles, very authentic. I dunno what else to say, wonderful!
